Century Arms WASR-10 7.62x39mm 16.5in Black/Wood Semi Automatic Modern Sporting Rifle - 10+1 Rounds - The Romanian WASR-10 rifle is a semi-automatic version of the Pistol Mitraliera model 1963/1965 configured with a fixed wooden stock and forend. The WASR rifle is a perfect choice for hunters and recreational shooters. It features a 16.5in hard chrome-lined hammer forged barrel with a 1:10in twist, and is chambered in 7.62x39mm. It has an overall length of 34.25in and weighs 7.5 lbs. This CA compliant model comes with a 10-round magazine.
California compliant design prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, locking the magazine into the receiver. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter will be required separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord to make the process easier. Once the magazine has been released the rifle can be re-assembled and shot once again
