The Crimson Trace red-green dot optic sight is installed on four M P15 Sport II optic-ready rifles to provide the consumer with an out-of-the box sight solution on their optics ready rifle. With both red or green dot reticles, the user can pick the color and the intensity of the dot that works best for them. The Crimson Trace CTS-103 allows for both quick and precise aiming of the M P15 Sport II rifle.
California compliant design prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, locking the magazine into the receiver. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter will be required separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord to make the process easier. Once the magazine has been released the rifle can be re-assembled and shot once again.
