Hi-Point 995TS Carbine 9mm Luger 16.5in Black Semi Automatic Rifle - 10+1 Rounds - California Compliant - This Hi Point 995TS 9mm Carbine comes equipped with a California-compliant paddle grip, and a new molded polymer stock that has been re-engineered to deliver improved handling and better accuracy in a target-design carbine. These Hi-Points offer reliability and accuracy at an affordable price which includes Hi-Point’s lifetime unconditional warranty and fast, expert service.
California compliant design prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, locking the magazine into the receiver. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter will be required separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord to make the process easier. Once the magazine has been released the rifle can be re-assembled and shot once again.
